Through CoolPass®, a member of GHG recognized registries, we purchase carbon credits for the purpose of either hedging against pending legislation or for future price change. As an authorized sales agent for CoolPass® we are the source for people and businesses who wish to take responsibility for their part in global warming and make a meaningful contribution. Through Carbon Neutral Energy Group’s back office systems and relationships with CoolPass®, CNEG provides the ability for businesses and individuals to buy and hold Carbon Credits for use at a later date. This benefit includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing small corporations and individuals the ability to hedge against pending regulation
- Allowing clients to be environmental conscious (“green”)
- Providing clients with potential future price appreciation
Once purchased, the carbon credits will be held in the name of the purchaser or business on the CoolPass® CPI electronic registry. Upon purchasing, you receive a certificate verifying the ownership of your carbon credits. CoolPass®, a member of GHG recognized registries, holds your carbon credits until you are ready to retire or sell them. Fundamentally, purchasing a carbon credit from CNEG is not that dissimilar from purchasing an equity.
